Tesla's six-seat Model Y L is on display at Fashion Island
Tesla's three-row Model Y L, which launched in the US in July at $61,990, can be seen and test-driven at the Tesla store at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
Tesla’s Model Y L, a longer three-row version of its best-selling SUV, is on display and available for demo drives at the Tesla store at Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
The car
Tesla launched the Model Y L in the US on July 2, almost a year after it debuted in China. It’s sold first as a Premium Launch Series priced at $61,990 before destination fees. According to Electrek and Engadget:
- It seats six in a 2+2+2 layout, with captain’s chairs in the second row and a powered third row.
- It has dual-motor all-wheel drive, an estimated 325 miles of range and a 0–60 mph time of 4.4 seconds.
- The wheelbase is about 5.9 inches longer than the standard Model Y’s.
- Tesla said deliveries would start in September or October.
